On the final day of our visit to Indonesia, THE ONE MEDICAL Taiwan had the opportunity to visit Tasikoki Wildlife Rescue Centre in Manado, North Sulawesi, bringing Taiwan-developed medical technology into the field of wildlife rescue and veterinary care.
As part of this visit, THE ONE MEDICAL provided Tasikoki with two disposable flexible endoscopes in 2.8 mm and 5.8 mm diameters to support the veterinary team in evaluating animals with different body sizes, anatomical structures, and clinical needs.
Wildlife medicine presents unique challenges. Veterinarians may work with many different species, each with its own anatomy, condition, and diagnostic limitations. In these situations, endoscopic visualization can provide an additional minimally invasive method for examining internal structures that may otherwise be difficult to assess directly.
The 2.8 mm and 5.8 mm endoscopes provide different options for selected clinical situations, allowing veterinarians to choose an appropriate instrument according to the individual animal and examination requirements.
For THE ONE MEDICAL, medical technology is not only about developing equipment. Its value lies in how that technology can be applied in real clinical environments and support the professionals working on the front line of animal care.
