On October 23, 2024, we held a successful endoscopy workshop at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea.
On October 23, 2024, we held a successful endoscopy workshop at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea.
The workshop focused on the application of endoscopy in veterinary medicine, providing a thorough overview of its functions and advantages while giving students the chance to perform hands-on practice with the endoscopes.
The workshop was divided into two parts: an introductory lecture and a practical session. In the introductory lecture, we explained the extensive applications of endoscopy in veterinary care, emphasizing its precision and safety in animal examinations.
The practical session was led by Dr. Woong-Bin Ro, who demonstrated endoscopy techniques for examining the stomach and nasal cavities. Following the demonstration, students had the opportunity to operate the equipment themselves, experiencing its real-world application firsthand.
By practicing with the equipment, students are able to gain a clearer understanding of endoscopic methods and techniques, appreciating its advantages directly.
The workshop aimed to deepen students’ understanding of endoscopic technology, equipping them with valuable insights into using precise diagnostic tools for their future careers in veterinary medicine.
