Endoscopy is a critical tool in modern veterinary medicine, yet its cost often limits student exposure during their academic studies. Understanding the importance of practical skills, The One Medical collaborated with the Veterinary Department at National Chiayi University to offer a hands-on endoscopy course, providing students with a unique opportunity to explore this advanced technology.

During the sessions, students were guided through the intricate process of endoscopy, learning how to navigate the challenges of manipulating instruments, such as aligning forceps to retrieve foreign objects or maintaining control while using the equipment. These real-world applications highlighted the complexities and potential of endoscopy, demonstrating that mastery requires both skill and practice.

Despite the brief two-class course, students quickly adapted, even finding creative ways to use the endoscopes in various scenarios, showcasing the multifunctional capabilities of the technology. This experience underscored the idea that even small instruments could have significant potential.

Special thanks to Professor Kun-Wei Zhan for providing the opportunity to bring this essential training to the classroom. We hope that this course has not only left a lasting impression on the students but also inspired future veterinarians to explore the possibilities of endoscopic instruments in their careers.
